InMotion Hosting is My Go-To Web Host

I mentioned having a website hacked a few months ago and how much Desktop Server helped me get everything alive again. Well, I want to give a big shout out to InMotion Hosting also.

InMotion Hosting To The Rescue!

InMotion Hosting logoInMotion Hosting came to the rescue after my former web hosting company denied me access to the hosting dashboard AND refused to help with fixing the hacking issue. I realize that web development is not the responsibility of a web host, but a little help (at least point me in the right direction) is appreciated and goes a long way in the customer support area. The lack of customer service or any feeling of giving a sh!t about my problem is what drove me away from a web host that I had endured for many years, into the open (and helpful) arms of InMotion Hosting.

The web hosting switched started normally… what’s your domain, gives us some money, presto you have space. This is where things get quite a bit different from other web hosting experiences I have had in the past. InMotion sent several well timed and well worded emails welcoming me into their fold, but also extending FREE limited support without it being all wrapped in underlying sales objectives. They actually gave me the sincere feeling that they give a sh!t about me and my website. This is a very welcomed feeling in the web world for me regarding hosting!

I did not have any major issues taking my old website and transferring it to the new web host account. A few broken permalinks and an image file or two that could not be located were my only points. However, even with only minor issues, InMotion Hosting responded to my email support questions within hours and sometimes within minutes. Quick response times, coupled with a sincere objective of helping, is what has made me a strong advocate for InMotion Hosting.

My website is on a WordPress platform (because WP is awesome!) and IMH has a full staff that is versed in the WordPress universe. This is nice when it comes to any troubleshooting when making a website live. But, even if WP is not being used, IMH’s staff are well rounded with website platforms, like Joomla and Drupal, and can handle most issues.

If you are in need of a place to have your website or are looking to change web hosting companies for whatever reason, then I highly recommend researching InMotion Hosting. Feel free to use my InMotion Hosting affiliate link to get more information or to sign up for service.

As always, feel free to comment below or send me an email. I like to help others and answering questions is a great way to do that!
