The RebelMouse

I am constantly researching and experimenting with the latest-greatest widget, module, feature, service, etc. on the Interwebs. This time I have run across RebelMouse. This is a fantastic service, similar to Paper.li and Flipboard, except for one main difference. That difference is instead of aggregating posts and updates from OTHER people, the RebelMouse service takes ALL of YOUR posts and formats them nicely into a single page feed type scenario. I like to perceive it as a live, dynamic portfolio showcasing your online activity from various social media platforms of your choice.

It works this way…sign up for an account at https://www.rebelmouse.com/ using credentials from one of your social media accounts. Next, pick the social media accounts you want to pull posts from…Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Instagram, they have access to most of the current, main stream platforms. After that you can do some visual tweakage and VOILA, you have a pretty awesome page that includes your social media activity.

And, to make things even sweeter, you can embed that page into a website, blog, wherever the capability to embed exists. Take a look below at how the RebelMouse page embed looks in a blog post. Refresh the page if you don’t see any cool RebelMouse stuff.

Have you used any super cool content aggregators? What are they? What did you like about them? Comment below and share your infinite wisdom with others.
